Operation Second Chance: Helping Heroes Move On

TDF partners with Operation Second Chance on a number of different cases ranging from:

We support Veterans and their families by building relationships and identifying and supporting immediate needs and interests. Once case was a family with four children ages 11, 8, 4 and 2. The soldier is rated at 100% disability and his wife just recently had to have an amputation in May/June of this year, so they have been especially stressed over circumstances and robbing Peter to pay Paul. He was driving nearly 3 hours one way to be near his wife and also provide care for the children.

We are paid rent and utilities (both currently due), in the amount of $2,104.00. We also  forward to them some gift cards for food and daily essential items for $400, making our assistance to them $2,504.
